Lucan Lions Club Coffee morning.
On behalf of the Lucan Lions Club , our President Eamonn Cullen and all of the Committee , would like to wish all our supporters a happy and prosperous New Year. We look forward to your continued support during 2010.
We would like to thank, most sincerely, all of the supporters and volunteers who helped us during the cold Christmas weather , at our Annual Food Appeal at the local Supermarkets Eurospar , Superquinn and Tescos. We thank the management and staff from these supermarkets , for their courtesy in allowing us this privilege and most of all we thank those shoppers who made contributions to the collection. The funding received was used to distribute much needed food vouchers to those less well off in our community.
We would also like to thank Frank Colgan , Stephen and all of the staff at the Spa Hotel for allowing us to hold a raffle at the highly successful Christmas Show during December. This was most appreciated and again we thank all those who contributed.
The Lions Club will host a Coffee Morning in St Mary’s Parish Centre after each of the Masses next Sunday morning, 31st January. Why not drop in for a cup of coffee and we will give you an overview of the Lions Club and how we go about helping the less well off in our Community.
Watch out for our Annual Gala Concert – likely to be in April – dates and arrangements to be announced soon.
